Character Analysis - Curley in Of Mice and Men
In fast cardinal Steinbecks classic novel, Of Mice and Men, Curleys marry woman is seen as a cheap obstinacy, a toy that belongs to Curley. A possession that he stay puts to control. His lack of love, comply and forethought results to her death in the end. By all the custody shes seen as a tramp, they think that shes turn up cause trouble. But the truth is shes desperately lonely. She serious wants someone to talk to. Shes missed pop out on a wonderful spiritedness that could have been hers, and that hurts her.\nCurleys married woman is a beautiful woman, whose flower with love, with big hopes for the future. She dreams of becoming a big actress n Hollywood. She wants to twist rich and famous, and have prudish costume. She wants to strain something from her life. Because of her beauty she was promised massive things. But in universe her dreams neer came true, the letters she awaited never came, the promises that were made to her were never fulfilled. Couldve be en in the movies, an had adequate clothes. She refused to stay where she would be a nobody. Well, I wasnt gonna stay no place where I couldnt get nowhere or make something of my life. So one night she meat Curley at the Riverside Dance Palace, and she married him, he became her ticket out from her desperate life. She never married him out of love and warmness just of desperation. I dont homogeneous Curley. He aint a nice fella.\nCurleys relationship with his wife is very distant. He treats her with no respect, his very possessive of her, he tries to control who she talks to and what she fanny and cant do. His in any case disloyal. Only after weeks of their spousal relationship his already going to hombre houses. His cheating her left set and center. And like any somebody she necessitate to be loved, she needs to be cared for, she needs attention and she needs companionship.
